The Ezarchiving Solution
Protection From User Errors
Users can make mistakes such as entering the wrong values or deleting the wrong set of rows. To recover from this type of mistakes, The ezArchiving Solution has a feature to correct errors. It eliminates the downtime associated with restoring a backup, and makes it extremely easy to recover from unexpected errors. This solution has the ability to recover a record or a set of records easily or quickly. It restores the records while automatically maintaining the associated attributes such as current indexes, triggers and constraints, to maintain data and transactional integrity. Records remain in the archived tables until they are permanently removed by issuing the PURGE command. As long as a dropped record remains in the archived table, it can be recovered.
Security
The ezArchiving Solution has an authentication and authorization mechanism to secure data. Strong authentication lets you know who accesses your system. The ezArchiving Solution provides a mechanism to establish the user's identity. Using our solution, customers can achieve greater granular security without any programming.
Business Value
The ezArchiving Solution provides customers instant information regardless of where the data resides. The core requirements of a business - Performance, Scalability and Manageability, remain the key factors of our product. The ezArchiving Solution provides robust availability capabilities, which exceed the availability characteristics of many other business intelligence products. Our solution is cost effective, easy to implement and secure.
Scheduling
The ezArchiving Solution includes a complete scheduling facility making it possible to schedule archiving at a fixed time, periodically (daily, weekly, and monthly). The ezArchiving scheduler shows all the logs for all the processes, as it is a single entry point to the whole scheduling architecture.
Failover capabilities
The ezArchiving Solution does not impose any methodology on failover functionality. The open architecture provides failover capabilities including "power-off" restarts or complex rules on continuity.
